the pcv valve is located on the top of the block near the injectors..a new one costs about two bucks and takes about 2 minutes to change. you might as well do it for piece of mind.

And do i need one? im pretty damn sure that mine has never been replaced. Do i need to replace it? Also i have noticed ever since i changed my fuel filter about three weeks ago, my fuel system hasent been runing right. Sometimes when i give it gas it acts like there is none. then it jerks a little and start going. thanks

    Question

it is possible your fuel system could have an air leak?? check your little copper gasket/washers you replaced when you put the filter on..maybe air is getting in somewhere?? I dunno..my $.02
